Taking a moment to rest
Rest can be difficult to achieve although so many people talk about how much they want it. When we do get down time, we typically fill the time with other activities to keep us busy. This past month, I decided to take a trip to relax and take a mental health break. Before I left, I made a promise to myself that I would cut out distractions and really take an opportunity to unplug. It’s always good to take a break. I said it when this video was live, I’m glad your were able to disconnect and just chill. We all need it! Listening to our bodies is sooo important.
A vacation after a vacation..I’m guilty of needing that and know others who seriously need that time to just relax as well. I haven’t been listening to my body and it recently reminded me of it. I’ve learned my lesson though lol.

Exactly! Our bodies will tell us when it is time to slow down. If we don’t listen, our bodies will sit us down. We are guilty of pushing hard at times. I really made an intentional point to schedule some time to do nothing. It seemed a little awkward at first and many people we concerned as to why I took a vacation to do nothing, but I listened to my body and took the time. I hope you really take this time to listen to your body and heal properly. I really enjoy interacting with you every week and I really thank you for having me on your journey Tamisha š
